1. To establish and sustain a bond of abiding friendship & fellowship among the COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSES IN INDIA
2.  To keep the  COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSES informed of the  current events and the  developments.
3.  To SUPPORT COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING EDUCATION IN INDIA
4.  To EMPOWER COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSES with continued education in health service advancement.
5. To promote the community nurses’ role in the formal and non-formal health care delivery.
6. To instill in the minds of members an interest in professional  development   by conducting conferences, seminars, workshops, etc.
7. To encourage students and teachers OF COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING to UNDERTAKE QUALITY PUBLICATIONS.
8. To raise funds for the activities of the  Association.
9. To PROVIDE A COMMON PLATFORM TO COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSES  TO EXCHANGE IDEAS, carry out RESEARCH ACTIVITIES, provide consultation and undertake projects.
10. To CONTRIBUTE TO IMPROVING  THE STANDARDS OF COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING PRACTICES .
11. To ACHIEVE PROFESSIONAL INDEPENDENCE in serving the community at large.
